Once upon a time, I held a Master’s in Procrastination—self-awarded, of course. About four years ago, I decided to stop pretending my last-minute instincts were a flaw and instead build something thoughtful from them. That decision became In A Pickle Rentals & Events.
This business was created for three reasons:
First, to support fellow procrastinators and last-minute planners who still want their events to feel intentional.
Second, to rethink how we experience events—throwing out the rulebook when it gets boring.
And third, to give myself the freedom to create without limitation, leaving room for a little beautiful unpredictability.
I’m not always the crystal chandeliers and perfect symmetry type—though I can be when the moment calls for it. I’m drawn to color, contrast, and design that feels unexpected yet considered. The kind that makes you pause, smile, and wonder why it works so well. From curated rentals to full event setups, I layer textures, styles, and details until everything feels effortless and complete.
Before this chapter, I spent years doing a bit of everything: five years as a nanny, four years in logistics, and a lifetime of managing people and moving parts. It turns out, that background was perfect training. Today, I use those skills to create events that feel elevated but never overproduced—moments that are relaxed, expressive, and full of personality.
